PRESTON’s historic quarter has been given a boost after planners agreed to allow the conversion of a former college annexe into plush apartments.
The existing buildings at 10a, 11 and 5 Winckley Square will be 23 apartments while five two-story apartments, a health club and an underground car park will be built to the rear. The developers, Blackthorn Homes Ltd, have agreed to put forward £20,000 for improvements to the square. |
